In 2008, Berkeley acquired 15 La Salle Square and One Empire Plaza, two office properties located in Downtown Providence’s Down City District. Berkeley successfully renovated, re-leased and sold 15 LaSalle in 2012. The remaining property, One Empire Plaza, is a six-story, 104,343 square foot office building in close proximity to some of the city’s top restaurant, arts and entertainment destinations. Contributing to this dynamic location, One Empire is home to the downtown Providence campus of Roger Williams University along with federal office space. With immediate access to I-95, as well as the MBTA and Amtrak transit services to Boston and New York City, One Empire Plaza is well positioned to cater to the city’s innovative companies, educational institutions, and government agencies.
